Are your children... sad & confused? fearful? misbehaving more than usual? regressing? doing poorly in school? no longer interested in former activities? not talking about their feelings? saying they are 'just fine' with the changes in their family?
| Then, consider a loss support group for them, as... children are often the overlooked grievers in the family parents are grieving & focusing on their own losses parents' grief can cause a diminished capacity to parent as well as before the loss children often don't have the words to express their new and difficult feelings children suffer silently if their loss is not validated by others
| Single Parent Family Outreach has a future goal of offering children's loss support groups. Please watch this site as to the start of these groups for children. Until these groups are formed, it recommended that you look for a support group at www.rainbows.org |
